Wolfram Alpha & Digital Storytelling..

Wolfram Alpha, boy does it offer a lot.  I spent no more than approximately five minutes playing around with this website and I was truly amazed.  This site, has a lot to offer, with a high degree of educational value.  It appealed to me because I am very health conscious, and this site (the health and wellness aspect) was great for me.  I tried typing just about anything, in terms of different types of foods and I was given all of the nutritional information including all dietary aspects as well as calories.  The introduction of this site was VERY useful for me, and I see myself using it a lot in the next little while, as I keep a close eye on my calorie intake and fitness goals.

We were given the chance to create digital stories in class.  While trying to think of my own unique story, I realized that I had to keep one thing in mind.  As Kevin mentioned, it is better to tell the story, then add pictures rather than vice versa.  With that in mind, I began to write my story.  When asked to tell the story, using iMovie, i realized that this task was harder than I thought.  I don't really have a loud voice, and every time I would go back to listen to my story I would realize that it just wasn't loud enough.  I will definitely have to play around with iMovie on my spare time in a quiet spot, ad hope that I will be able to pitch my voice loud enough to complete the first step in the digital storytelling process....
